Three Things I Loved About A Happy Wedding at Midtown Center in Holland, Michigan | Midwest Wedding Photographer

Wedding

Earlier this summer, I drove to the other side of Lake Michigan for a fun wedding at Midtown Center in Holland, Michigan. What did I love about that day?

  1. Our first look and portraits of the bride + groom! I send a timeline guide to every couple who inquires with me. While I pride myself on my ability to work quickly and under time constraints, the more closely you structure your day around my timeline recommendations, the more you will love your photos and have more to choose from! You can do so many fun, out-of-the-box things! They did their first look at the chapel of Hope College, followed by ice cream down the road at Kilwin’s, and a quick drive to the sand dunes. Lots of fun!
  2. The dance floor. Lots of kids were invited to their wedding and all of the couples’ friends were great about including the littles in the fun.
  3. The bride left me the kindest review! I am a words of affirmation kind of person, so this one meant a lot.

Logan and I knew after seeing our engagement photo gallery that we made the right decision hiring Tyrie as our wedding photographer. Now, after seeing our entire wedding gallery and reflecting on our wedding day with her leading the way, we have absolutely no regrets booking Tyrie. She is absolutely incredible. From the get go, Tyrie was a pro at answering questions, helping us plan around COVID19 restrictions, and construct a perfect wedding day timeline. Tyrie’s help and encouragement was a gift to us as we planned our wedding! As we look at our gallery, Tyrie’s eye for detail, little moments, and crafting beautiful photos shines through every image. From the detailed shots she took to our bridal party photos, Tyrie got all the photos we asked for AND MORE! Tyrie was up for big adventures on our wedding day – in under 2 hours, we did a first look, got ice cream, and hiked a sand dune overlooking Lake Michigan – and she was there for all of it. The photos she took of those moments – and many others! – are ones we will be framing in our home and cherishing forever. We had so much fun and felt completely at ease in front of her camera. So many of our friends, family members & bridal party members commented how much fun they had with Tyrie and how quickly she worked! We will recommend Tyrie to anyone and everyone we know in a heartbeat. Hiring her as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we would make that decision again. Tyrie, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a constant encouragement, cheerleader, planner extraordinaire, and giving us photos we will cherish for a lifetime. We’re excited to be in front of your camera in the future!

xo, Tyrie
